New version changes

The new standard mainly involves two clauses:

Cl.22.44 has revised how to determine the attractiveness of devices to children and the requirements for such devices. The appearance of household appliances should not be designed with a toy image to prevent children from playing with it as a toy and causing danger.

Revise Cl.22.44 as follows:
If one of the following characteristics exists, the device is considered attractive to children:

--Electrical appliances decorated with facial features, cartoon characters, or similar images;
--Using tools that represent the shape of animals, characters, figures, or proportional models;

If more than one of the following features exists, the device is considered to be attractive to children:

--Use non functional light (functional light such as light to illuminate objects or areas, signal lights to display device status);
--Using non functional sounds (such as music);
--Using non functional exercise;
If the product is considered to have attractive features for children but has a mass of less than 4 kilograms, or is usually intended for use or installation in a height of less than 850 millimeters, the following conditions should be met:
--The surface (including functional and non functional surfaces) that can be contacted by the test probe 19 of IEC 61032 with a height of less than 850 millimeters shall not exceed the specified temperature rise;
--Under the conditions specified in clause 20.2 for test probe 18, test probe 19 passing IEC 61032 shall not come into contact with dangerous moving parts;
--Under the conditions specified in clause 8.1.1 for test probe 18, test probe 19 of IEC 61032 shall not be used to contact live parts;
--Under the conditions specified in Article 20.2, Test Probe 18, the liquid in the equipment that can be contacted by Test Probe 19 shall not exceed 38 ℃ during normal use, or may flow out of the equipment at different positions. A container that requires two independent and continuous actions to come into contact with the liquid is considered compliant.
--The requirement of 22.12 applies to all accessible parts of the product (originally this clause only applies to handles, knobs, push rods, and similar components of the product).

2. Provisions related to remote control of products 24.1.7

If the remote operation of the device is carried out through a telecommunications network, the relevant standard for the telecommunications interface circuit in the device is IEC 62151. (The original EN standard used EN 41003)
